Looking for a fun, creative, and engaging way to keep your kids active this summer? Join us at Phoenix Dance Company for our 2025 Recreational Summer Camps! Designed for kids ages 4 to 12, our camps offer a perfect blend of dance, games, crafts, and themed activities. Each week features a unique and exciting theme to spark imagination and creativity.

Camp Details

Our camps are designed to be inclusive and fun for kids of any skill level or experience!

Hours

Full Day: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Half Day: (8:30am - 12:30pm)

Before and After Care available for additional charges

Ages 4-12

Campers will be split into two groups for the day:

ages 4-7 and ages 8-12

Pricing

Full Week: $215

Daily Rate: $55/day

 

Half Day Rates (8:30am-12:30pm): $125/week or $40/day

What to bring:

To ensure a fun and comfortable camp experience, please send your camper(s) with the following items:

  •  A backpack for their belongings

  • A packed lunch and snacks (excluding Fridays when we provide pizza and ice cream)

  • A refillable water bottle

  • Comfortable clothing and dance shoes

  • A blanket or towel for quiet time and/or outdoor activities

Weekly Highlights:

  • Pizza and Ice Cream Party: Every Friday, campers will celebrate the end of the week with a pizza and ice cream party!

  • Creative Crafts: Daily crafts related to the weekly theme to inspire creativity.

  • Dance Performances: At the end of the week campers will perform mini-performances to showcase what they have learned.

Policies and Procedures:

  • Drop Off: Campers can be dropped off starting at 8:15am. Please sign in your child at the front desk.

  • Pick-Up: Half day campers must be picked up at 12:30pm. Full day campers need to be picked up at 3:30pm unless enrolled in after care. 

  • Before Care: Available from 7:30am to 8:30 am for an additional charge.

  • After Care: Available from 3:30pm to 4:30pm for an additional charge.

  • Safety Measures: All camp staff are CPR certified, and the studio is equipped with first-aid supplies.

  • Step into Barbie’s world with fabulous dance routines and glamorous activities.

Week 2 (July 14 - July 18): Beach Bash Bonanza

  • Catch the waves with tropical-themed games, crafts, and summer-inspired dances.

​

Week 3 (July 21 - July 25): Swifties Eras Extravaganza

  • Celebrate the music and vibes of Taylor Swift’s iconic eras with themed dances and projects.

​

Week 4 (July 28 - August 1): Dazzling Disney 

  • Bring the magic of Disney to life through dances, games, and crafts inspired by beloved characters.

Week 5 (August 4 - August 8): Superhero Showdown

  • Unleash your inner hero or villain with action-packed dances and creative superhero crafts.

​

Week 6 (August 11 - August 15): Jungle Jamboree

  • Go wild with jungle-themed adventures, from dancing to crafting and exploring the animal kingdom.

Week 7 (August 18 - August 22): Wicked Wonders and Musicals

  • Explore the magical world of "Wicked" and other iconic musicals through enchanting dances, crafts, and spellbinding fun!

8:30 – 9:00 AM | Morning Warm-Up & Icebreakers

  • Stretching to Taylor Swift acoustic ballads (Lover, Enchanted, You Belong With Me)

  • Dance-based warm-up exercises

  • Icebreaker games (Taylor Swift Trivia, Freeze Dance)

9:00 – 10:00 AM | Dance Technique Class – Era of the Day!

Each day focuses on a popular dance style and a hit Taylor Swift song:

  • Monday – Jazz: Shake It Off

  • Tuesday – Lyrical: All Too Well (10-Minute Version)

  • Wednesday – Hip-Hop: Look What You Made Me Do

  • Thursday – Musical Theatre: You Belong With Me

  • Friday – Fusion/Mix Style: Cruel Summer & Karma

  • Monday: DIY Friendship Bracelets (for trading!)

  • Tuesday: Eras Tour-Inspired T-Shirt Decorating

  • Thursday: Make a Tour VIP Pass & Rhinestone Cup

  • Friday: Concert Poster Creation for the Final Showcase

11:15 AM – 12:15 PM | Performance & Choreography Workshop

  • Wednesday: Taylor Swift Costume Parade (Dress as Your Favorite Era!)

  • Thursday: Tour-Themed Dance Tag (Taylor vs. The Paparazzi)

  • Friday: Guess the Era! (Taylor Swift Dance & Trivia Competition)

2:00 – 3:00 PM | Showcase Rehearsal

  • Final performance prep for parents & guests

  • Solo, duet & group dance rehearsals

  • Run-through of the full Taylor Swift-themed show!

3:00 – 3:30 PM | Wrap-Up & Awards

  • Cool-down stretch & reflection (The Archer, You’re On Your Own Kid)

  • Swiftie Camp Awards (Best Performer, Most Creative, Ultimate Swiftie)

  • Group photos & goodbye celebration!

Q: Can my child attend if they have no dance experience?

A: Absolutely! Our camps are designed to be fun and inclusive for all skill levels.

Q: What happens if my child misses a day?

A: You can enroll in individual days at the rate of $40/half day or $55/full day. Missed days are non-refundable.

​

Q: Are snacks provided?

A: We do not provide snacks, except for pizza and ice cream on Fridays for our end of week party. Please pack snacks for your camper.

​

Q:​ How are food allergies handled?

A: Please make us aware of all food allergies prior to arriving at camp! We will make sure that anyone who has a snack or lunch with an allergen is in their own designated eating area clear from campers who are allergic. After eating, we make sure each and every camper thoroughly washes their hands to avoid spreading of germs and contaminated items.
